It is the mother of all gadgets. The Ultra Mobile PC or UMPC, as we call it, is a small portable device that you can use to access functions like internet, entertainment and other PC features while on the move. In recent times, a lot of companies have employed this technology to release truly amazing UMPC gadgets. Wibrain has joined this family by unveiling its product sample called B1 (project name), a business UMPC.

The state-of-the-art gadget features a 4.8 touchscreen LCD screen with a 1024×600 resolution for a PC like experience. It runs on the VIA C7M ULV CPU/VX70 GPU and incorporates WLAN, Bluetooth 2.1 and is also expected to include GSM/ GPRS/EDGE 4 band and HSDPA 3band in the actual product. Additionally, there is a 0.3M camera to capture all your lovely moments. A QWERTY keyboard, scroll wheel, page up/down buttons and mouse left/right complete the feature range.

The B1 UMPC will be available in several variants and customers can pick from CPU (1GHz, 1.2GHz and 1.6GHz), memory (512MB and 1GB) and HDD (30GB, 60GB and 80GB) to suit their needs. To own this amazing gadget, you would have to wait till October when the UMPC will debut in Korea at a suggested price between 600,000(KRW) and 700,000(KRW).
